2. 新冠病毒疫情答疑（學(xué)生篇）

Q1：Should I continue to attend mylectures and other classes?

我是否應(yīng)該照常上課？

A1：Yes, the University continues to operate normally at present We will bewriting shortly with details of how teaching could be delivered remotely, if wefind ourselves in a position where maintaining full campus delivery is notpossible.

是的，大學(xué)目前照常運(yùn)行。如果情況進(jìn)一步變化，不能在校園上進(jìn)行正常的教學(xué)活動(dòng)，屆時(shí)大學(xué)將出臺(tái)網(wǎng)課的方針。

Q2：As a student, can I engage with my studiesremotely?

作為學(xué)生，我可不可以進(jìn)行遠(yuǎn)程學(xué)習(xí)？

A2：The University is remaining open as usual and classes are still running.We are not asking students to stay away. We will keep the situation underreview and if this position changes we will notify students.

Lecture capture will take place as usual, but, also as usual, otherlearning activities like seminars and labs will not be recorded. In all casesstudents get the maximum benefit by continuing to attend. We do not envisagechanging any assessment criteria. 

大學(xué)還在照常營(yíng)運(yùn)。我們目前不建議學(xué)生離校，我們會(huì)對(duì)疫情保持高度關(guān)注，一旦情況有變會(huì)立即知會(huì)學(xué)生。

“講座錄影”還將如常進(jìn)行，所有講座可登錄學(xué)生端口進(jìn)行回放。其它教學(xué)活動(dòng)例如研討會(huì)以及實(shí)驗(yàn)將不會(huì)被錄影。綜合各種情況，大學(xué)認(rèn)為學(xué)生通過繼續(xù)隨堂上課將會(huì)獲得最佳學(xué)習(xí)效果，目前學(xué)校不考慮變更任何考核標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

Q3：What is being done to minimise the risk ofinfection?

大學(xué)有哪些措施用以減低感染的風(fēng)險(xiǎn)？

A3：The University is constantly reviewing its domestic cleaning programmeas part of our Coronavirus response. We are also continuing to remind staff,students and visitors of the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene atall times, in line with Public Health England advice.

Q4：Are any students in quarantine orself-isolating?

A4：Weare not able to comment on individual cases. However, in line with PublicHealth England and NHS advice, anybody in the UK who has returned from thespecified countries in the last 14 days or since 19th February is asked toself-isolate. More info can be found at the Governmentwebsite.?

Q5：I am an international student and I am being threatened and abused. Whatshould I do?

A5：We take all allegations of abuse and harassmentvery seriously. You can report the matter to the University via the Online Incident Reporting Portal, the Securityteam in Loughborough, at main reception atLoughborough University London or the Police. If you feel in immediate dangeryou should dial 999 and ask for the Police.

Q6：I’m worriedabout my Tier-4 visa if I self-isolate or go back to China – who can I ask?

Q7：I have an underlying health condition – what should I do?

我本身有健康狀況的問題——我該怎么做？

A7：Individuals who have an existing long term condition and are concernedabout coronavirus should continue to take their normal precautions and may wishto contact their GP. If people with long term conditions have concerns thatthey may have the coronavirus, they should telephone NHS 111 immediately.

本身具有慢性疾病，并擔(dān)心感染冠狀病毒的個(gè)體，應(yīng)繼續(xù)采取正常的預(yù)防措施，并及時(shí)聯(lián)系GP。如果本身有疾病的人擔(dān)心自己可能已經(jīng)感染了冠狀病毒，應(yīng)立即致電111。????
