|概況

昆士蘭大學(xué)(The University of Queensland;簡(jiǎn)稱UQ)，1909年12月10日成立于昆士蘭州首府布里斯班，為昆州的第一所綜合型大學(xué)，在校生約52000人，是6所砂巖學(xué)府(Sandstone universities)之一;今澳大利亞八大名校(Group of Eight)的盟校成員，也是Universitas 21聯(lián)盟的一員，乃澳大利亞最古老、規(guī)模最大的學(xué)府之一。研究經(jīng)費(fèi)及學(xué)術(shù)水平在澳大利亞大學(xué)之中，始終位居前四大;昆士蘭大學(xué)商學(xué)院為澳大利亞6所獲得AACSB認(rèn)證的大學(xué)商學(xué)院之一，亦獲EQUIS認(rèn)證，并且被澳大利亞管理畢業(yè)生協(xié)會(huì)(GMAA)評(píng)鑒為滿分五星。

昆士蘭大學(xué)的總校區(qū)設(shè)址于昆士蘭首府布里斯本市的St.Lucia區(qū)，占地114公頃，校園緊鄰布利斯本河，距離中心商業(yè)區(qū)僅7公里。

|學(xué)校歷史

昆士蘭議會(huì)為了慶祝昆士蘭州脫離新南威爾士州五十周年，通過了創(chuàng)建一所大學(xué)-昆士蘭大學(xué)的議案。于是在此議案的影響下，昆士蘭大學(xué)于1909年12月10日創(chuàng)建。1911年昆士蘭大學(xué)開始錄取了83個(gè)學(xué)生并開始授課，授課地點(diǎn)主要是昆士蘭總督府。由于第一次世界大戰(zhàn)的影響，昆士蘭大學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)建設(shè)和其他建設(shè)都受到了不同程度的影響。但是在第一次世界大戰(zhàn)結(jié)束之后，入學(xué)的學(xué)生猛增，所以使得校方開始擴(kuò)大學(xué)?；A(chǔ)建設(shè)。主校區(qū)St Lucia的主要建筑是 Forgan Smith Building，是命名于當(dāng)時(shí)昆士蘭州州長(zhǎng)，在他的支持下，于1938年開建，于1939年竣工。在第二次世界大戰(zhàn)期間，F(xiàn)organ Smith Building 一度成為被軍隊(duì)所征用，成為軍隊(duì)指揮所。1990年澳大利亞開始意識(shí)到高等教育的重要性，創(chuàng)建了昆士蘭農(nóng)業(yè)學(xué)院，創(chuàng)建了昆士蘭大學(xué)Gatton校區(qū)。

昆士蘭大學(xué)的三個(gè)校區(qū)共計(jì)有7大學(xué)院、6大研究所，提供學(xué)子6000多種課程。各學(xué)院亦附設(shè)各類科學(xué)研究中心。包括文學(xué)院;商學(xué)、經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)及法學(xué)院;自然科學(xué)院;工程學(xué)、建筑學(xué)及資訊科技學(xué)院;健康科學(xué)院;天然資源、農(nóng)學(xué)及獸醫(yī)學(xué)院;社會(huì)學(xué)及行為科學(xué)院。

|學(xué)校設(shè)施

校內(nèi)有銀行、書店、藥店、眼鏡店、牙病診所、販賣部和咖啡屋，坐擁昆州規(guī)模最大的圖書館;另備有全澳大學(xué)中最完善的體育設(shè)施，包括室內(nèi)運(yùn)動(dòng)場(chǎng)、運(yùn)動(dòng)醫(yī)療中心、足球場(chǎng)、網(wǎng)球場(chǎng)、田徑場(chǎng)、奧運(yùn)標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的溫泉游泳館、曲棍球場(chǎng)、排球場(chǎng)、自行車和競(jìng)走場(chǎng)地、射箭場(chǎng)。此外還設(shè)有1座電影院、3座藝術(shù)劇場(chǎng)、畫廊、博物館、音樂廳等，一些古典或流行音樂家和演員時(shí)常來校演出或參與學(xué)生活動(dòng)。昆士蘭大學(xué)尊重各種宗教信仰，基督徒和穆斯林學(xué)生住處附近多有基督教堂、伊斯蘭祈禱室及其它宗教信仰設(shè)施。
