To be considered for admission to this course an applicant must have—
(a) a relevant bachelor's degree, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA;
or
(b) a three-year teaching qualification from a recognised teacher training institution.
There are six semester length units and a major paper, the latter representing 25 percent of the course requirements.
Most classes are scheduled after school hours. Each unit consists of 25 hours per semester.
A variety of assessment methods are used. The most common pattern includes seminar presentation and/or assignments to a total of 5000-6000 words per unit.

This postgraduate course includes subject areas such as exploration and production of minerals and petroleum in Australia, native title, concepts of sustainability and social licence to operate as well as other broad policy objectives.
Coverage of the general principles of oil and gas law, together with the legislation and agreements relevant to commercialisation and infrastructure, are supplemented by case studies based on real-life situations.
The course consists of four coursework units (24 points) and articulates with the Master of Mining and Energy Law.

The School of Anatomy, Physiology and Human Biology provides diverse coursework and research opportunities in human biology, including theoretical studies in evolution, human variation and adaptation, human ecology, population and occupational health, and human reproduction. Students undertake a considerable amount of independent reading and guided project work such as survey design and analysis.

1A relevant graduate certificate includes a Graduate Certificate in Social Work, Graduate Certificate in Child Protection Practice, and Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Practice.
The course involves two compulsory units and a choice from a range of other advanced social work units, depending on availability. It enables practising social workers to build on their knowledge of advanced social work theory and practice, and research methods.

The Graduate Diploma of Curriculum Studies provides relevant renewal to currently practising primary and secondary teachers in the areas of curriculum development, pedagogy and assessment and the use of ICT, aligned with the new requirements of the Australian Curriculum and in relation to national standards for teachers.
The course will affirm the central importance of discipline-based knowledge and skills, as well as general capabilities and cross-curriculum priorities, giving teachers the flexibility to shape classroom programs to take into account the different rates at which students develop and the diverse range of learning needs in the class.

(a) a Bachelor of Dental Science, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA;
or
(b)(i) a bachelor's degree containing a significant component of dental health-related coursework, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA;
and
(ii) at least two years of relevant experience in public or primary dental health.
The course comprises eight units that can be taken from either the Public Dental Health stream or the Rural and Remote Dental Health stream.

(1)(a) a Bachelor of Dental Surgery, or an equivalent qualification, as recognised by UWA;
and

(2) Applicants must be registered to practice dentistry, which can be demonstrated by;
(a) registration on the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency Website;
or
(b) satisfactory documentation showing registration with an international accreditation body, as recognised by UWA.
Students will gain clinical experience through sleep laboratory visits, clinical exercises and clinical observations during their course.
A range of sleep breathing disorders (including sleep apnoea) are covered. This course is specifically aimed at providing dental practitioners with formal training in sleep medicine to complement clinical training in the use of oral devices used in the treatment of sleep apnoea. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students assess and report the progress of actual cases.
